As beautiful as it is...this world is not my Home. "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:2-3

Searching
This was our first Sunday to start looking for a new church home. I went to Long Hollow Baptist Church which is about 5 minutes from our house. The worship was really good. It was what I have needed for a long time in a church worship service. I was supposed to meet and sit with either my Aunt Linda or the Hollans family. I never found either one. The Hollans sat right in front of me though and they walked with me to my car because I had a birthday gift for Naomi. Kevin was at the Titans game so he didn't go with me. Next Sunday we are going to his home church for homecoming. I really like Long Hollow and feel like this is where we will end up.

Hi Tricia, You don't know me, but my daughter-in-law wrote on her blog, "Welcome to the Good Life", that she was featured on your blog, so I went to your blog, but couldn't find her. But I did notice this post that you were searching for a new church back in 2008. I was wondering if you've heard of the Mormons or our real name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Check it out on mormon.org. I know you'll find all the answers you've been searching for at this Church. You can email me back at etphonehome16@gmail.com Aloha, Eloise Tyau
Tricia- I didn't expect you to post my comment, but I hope you went to mormon.org. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints truly believes God is our Heavenly Father and we are His children. We sing a song, "I am a Child of God." Email me at etphonehome16@gmail.com and I can send you the music. Sincerely, Eloise Tyau
