I bought these tall candles at Dollar Tree. I think they are Catholic prayer candles. As a Southern Baptist , we don't worship with candles (not slamming Catholics!), but with casseroles. Just a little SB humor. Anyhoo..I gathered these items and came up with this.
I had the ribbon and the pack of vellum quotes. I picked this quote -a defination of "Faith" and mod podged it onto one of the candles. I lined them up in the shape of a triangle and tied a piece of black ribbon around them. Total cost $3.

Would you care to share any tricks about using Mod Podge with vellum? I tried it once and all I made was a mess. Your project is lovely!
