My latest addiction is Pottery Barn. I saw a super cheap version of this message board on Dollar Store Crafts and was pretty sure I had the supplies on hand to make my own version.
I bought the cork tiles at Re-store for $2.00 and got the frame somewhere? for only .49. I covered the tiles with burlap and then stamped them with some Paris themed stamps that I bought recently. I stamped plain clothspins and hot glued thin push pins onto the back of the clothspins. My version is about 1/3 the size of the PB version, but it fits perfectly on a wall by our computer desk. I think it looks pretty good!

Very cute friend!!!
Perfect!! I love Pottery Barn! I may need to do this in my sewing room! Hopefully this summer I will be able to do some "Faux Pottery Barn" items. Where is Re-store? I have never heard of it.

Hi, I just found your blog and love the pottery barn knock off. I also wanted to say my maden name is Hicks and I have a feeling we are related, lol. I have traced our family back to the 1600's and I know some of the family moved to tn.
